In the depths of my soul, a storm rages on,
A tempest of anger, a love now gone.
My heart, once ablaze, now a charred, empty husk,
As I drown in the mire of my breakup's dusk.

My mind replays the memories, sharp as knives,
Of vows unfulfilled, of broken lives.
My rage consumes me, a burning inferno,
Leaving me lost, with no place to turn to.

But then, like a beacon in the darkest night,
A new light appears, a radiant sight.
A gentle touch, a tender kiss,
A love that whispers, "You're not amiss."

In your embrace, my anger slowly subsides,
As your love heals the wounds that my ex confides.
Your patience, your kindness, your gentle embrace,
Help me to find solace in this wounded space.

And so, I begin to mend, to rise anew,
With you by my side, my love so true.
You teach me to forgive, to let go of the past,
And to open my heart to love at last.

In your arms, I find my redemption's grace,
As your love erases the pain on my face.
