Hi friends
I run three newsletters on three different platforms. That's a lot of subscribers from various places for completely different email lists.
To not get lost, I have a very simple, but extremely helpful Notion template hooked up to Zapier that automatically updates a database with all subscribers whenever a new subscriber is added via my website forms.
It's called Newsletter Subscriber Export.
And It's super handy. That's why I am giving it away!
As you can see from the image above, it's nothing fancy. No pretty design necessary. This is a purely practical template. In addition to being a handy overview of all your subscribers, this template also serves as a backup for your email lists. Always important!
Zapier gives you 5 automation for free, enough to connect a few email lists to the Notion database. The setup is pretty straightforward.
One note, though: This only works with email newsletter platforms that offer API access for Zapier to connect to. Examples are ConvertKit, MailerLite, Mailchimp, or Beehiiv.
Instead of Zapier (or along with it), you can also use make.com with offers much of the same automation functionality with a free plan.

Do I take it from the fact it isn’t on the list this doesn’t work with Substack. How do you back up that I’m presuming manually?
