I’ve written about the MacBook Neo a few times now. Why many people are getting it wrong. Why the 8GB RAM debate misses the point. Why I can’t figure out who would buy a Windows laptop instead.
And now I’m telling you not to buy it.
Kind of.
The actual reason not to buy it
Some we talked about already:
Need a Gaming PC / machine? Valid reason to skip it. I said that.
Want a dedicated Linux machine? Also valid. Buy a Framework or a TUXEDO instead.
But there’s a third reason I didn’t mention. And it’s probably the most relevant one for a lot of people who are considering buying the Neo right now in 2026.
