Hi friends,
Whatās your stance on goals?
I have a goals database in my Notion dashboard. That database is used to keep track of big goals I have for the foreseeable future.
Itās NOT a to-do list. A goal tracker serves a different purpose, in my opinion. Itās a place to capture more than simple tasks that need to be done at a certain time.
A goal is something I want to achieve, whether personal or work-related. And I feel it helps to write down these important goals and be reminded of them once in a while.
Writing is the first step to manifesting.
And writing down a goal turns it into something more reachable, I believe.
The following quote perfectly fits here:
"A goal without a plan is just a wish." ā Antoine de Saint-ExupĆ©ry

How to Make Money on Substack in 2024 (Really!)
Okay, letās talk cash.
We canāt kid ourselves. Writing on the internet is not just fun. Most of us try to make some money.
And Substack is a good place to start, and a highly trending platform right now.
Youāre probably wondering how to make money on Substack, right?
Letās discuss!
#2 Off Topic:
Fasting 2 Days a Week Can Cure Diabetes (Better Than Drugs!)
My grandmother had diabetes the last two decades of her life. It wasnāt easy.
Itās estimated that more than 10% of the entire world population have diabetes.
We canāt do much about type 1 diabetes, but type 2 is another story. Thereās also type 3 which links to Alzheimerās, but weāre not going into that today.
If youāre living with type 2 diabetes, youāve probably heard a lot about medications and lifestyle changes.
But have you ever wondered which approach works better?
A recent study has some eye-opening results that might change how we think about managing diabetes.
Letās break it down in simple terms.
The Big Question
Researchers wanted to answer a question many of us have:
What works better for managing type 2 diabetes ā drugs or lifestyle changes?
They designed a study to compare these approaches head-to-head.
#3 Facts
Here are 5 lesser-known facts about diabetes:
Diabetes can affect hearing: People with diabetes are twice as likely to experience hearing loss compared to those without the condition.
There's a rare form called ābrittle diabetesā: This subtype of type 1 diabetes is characterized by extreme swings in blood glucose levels, making it challenging to manage.
Diabetes can cause a specific type of arthritis: Charcot joint, also known as neuropathic arthropathy, is a progressive degenerative condition impacting the feet and ankles of some people with diabetes.
Dogs and cats can get diabetes too: Just like humans, our pets can develop both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, requiring similar management strategies.
There's a link between diabetes and Alzheimer's disease: Some researchers refer to Alzheimer's as ātype 3 diabetesā due to the brain's impaired ability to use glucose in this condition.
#4 Favorite Song
Since binge-watching Yellowstone lately (and the prequels 1883 and 1923), Iāve been listing to country music non-stop š
And my favorite one from that show and in general right now is āAll I See Is Youā by Shane Smith and The Saints.
