The Real Winner of the AI Race Might Be… Apple
I know… 🤯

Everyone’s talking about the AI race right now. Or the AI bubble and when it’s going to burst.
NVIDIA’s GPUs, billion-dollar data centers, massive training runs. OpenAI, Google, Claude, Microsoft.
The whole tech world is watching these AI tech giants duke it out over who can build the biggest model.
Rarely people talk about Apple. And if so, it’s mainly negative. “Apple’s already lost the AI race”. Siri is laughable. No real AI features. No real push apart from a deal with Google to let Gemini power Siri soon (which is already delayed… again!)
That’s it. Is it, though?
Is Apple irrelevant because they’re not building H100 clusters or training foundation models. Just a company making solid laptops, cool tablet, and overpriced phones.
I think we are missing something huge. Apple isn’t playing the same game everyone else is playing. They’re not throwing billions at AI like Meta, Google, Microsoft, or Amazon. Not in the same way.
While NVIDIA was building bigger and bigger, Apple was building smaller and smaller. And that difference might actually matter more than anyone realizes.
