#1 My Favs 2022
Yes, I’ve been writing on Medium for two years next month. 🤯 Time flies!
In these two years, I’ve had my share of ups and downs. Mostly ups, luckily. Today, I’d like to share my personal favorite stories I wrote for Medium last year.
Don’t worry, I’ll pick the good stuff from various niches. Here we go!
Medium Dug Its Own Grave And Substack Is Dancing On It (A humorous take on the Medium quitters and the rise of Substack. Emphasis on the word humorous.
I Hate Abortions (My satirical take on the new abortion laws in the US last year)

#2 Free live 5-Day webinar for Medium writers Jan 23rd—27th
How to grow your audience & income on Medium—even if you have zero writing experience?
This is the topic of an upcoming FREE course called “Online Writing Challenge” by Medium top writer, Sinem Günel which I highly recommend to any Medium writer who’s looking to up their game in 2023.
The Online Writing Challenge is a 5-Day LIVE experience where you’ll get access to:
A private community to connect with like-minded writers
Daily live workshops that’ll help you grow your audience and income by writing online
An exclusive workbook to help you implement the lessons you learn

#3 Hypefury reloaded
I’m a Twitter guy. So far, Elon hasn’t stopped me from that. I like the simplicity of the platform and the emphasis on text-based content.
Twitter is a great growth platform for writers and content creators.
In the past, I used to wing it on Twitter. I’d tweet whenever I wanted or stopped doing so for days, even weeks. While there’s nothing wrong with that, if you really want to grow your Twitter presence and, with that, grow another business side of yours—writing & digital product sales in my case—it’s time to take Twitter a little more seriously.
The perfect way to do that, in my opinion, is a service called Hypefury. I got that recommendation from one of my favorite Twitter people,
who’s been killing it over the past months on Twitter, LinkedIn, Substack, and now even YouTube.Hypefury is a tweet scheduling service, first and foremost. But it does so much more. Scheduling is a great way to use Twitter, first of all. It means your tweets get spread out evenly and reach more people around the globe who might be active during very different times of the day.
Secondly, scheduling allows you to add a bunch of tweets in 20 minutes and then relax for a few days.
Hypefury offers Autoplugs if you sell products or want to market your newsletter. You can set up Evergreen tweets, you can re-use tweets, and Hypefury even suggests past tweets or random quotes you can tweet out next. It does take some work out of regular tweeting, for sure.
It’s also free. Not every feature is, but the basics are. For a subscription, you’d be paying $19 a month. I don’t do that, just for reference.
I ditched Hypefury for a while last year and tried an alternative called TweetHunter which has even more features, but comes at a steeper price as well (if you want to pay). Recently, I switched back to Hypefury. I just feel more at home there. It does what I need.

I also wrote a detailed article about Hypefury and its feature, read that here:
#4 My favorite quote
… which is also featured on my Notion dashboard for work (image below).
“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” — Stephen King
